On June 8, 2024, a fatal road rage incident occurred in Carroll County, Kentucky, resulting in the death of Daniel Shouse, a 63-year-old resident of Carrollton. The incident began on Interstate 71 when two vehicles exited at Exit 43 in Carroll County.
