In the quiet town of Carrollton, Kentucky, a family was irrevocably fractured on the evening of March 5, 2026. Stephan Burgin, a 32-year-old man, was found with a fatal gunshot wound at a residence on New Castle Pike. The Carroll County Sheriff's Office received a call around 8:30 p.m. about an unresponsive male and upon arrival, deputies discovered Burgin, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
