On June 25, 2024, Sabrina Potter, 51, and her husband Rickie Potter, 57, were found dead from gunshot wounds near their home on Kelly Mountain Road in Shelby Gap, Kentucky. The incident was reported to the Kentucky State Police, who responded to the scene along with other investigators and emergency services, including Lifeguard Ambulance Service.
