On a summer day in the small community of Shelby Gap, Kentucky, a tragedy unfolded that left a family and community reeling. On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the Kentucky State Police were called to a residence on Kelly Mountain Road following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, troopers and investigators discovered a grim scene near a home where two individuals had been shot.
