On January 3, 2023, 16-year-old Scarlett Tucker was shot to death in Burlington, Kentucky. The incident occurred early in the morning at a home on Silver Brook Drive, where police were dispatched at around 2:18 a.m. following reports of a person being shot. Upon arrival, officers found Scarlett Tucker dead in a bedroom with a gunshot wound to her head.
