Jessie Lavell Marks Sr., a 36-year-old resident of Portland, Oregon, was found shot to death on May 24, 2023, in the North Tabor neighborhood. The incident occurred on Northeast Glisan Street near 55th Avenue, just blocks from Providence Portland Medical Center. Police received a call around 9:15 a.m. and upon arrival, they found Marks deceased. The medical examiner's office confirmed that his death was a homicide due to a gunshot wound.
