On September 2, 2023, at approximately 2:39 a.m., the Eugene Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 590 E. Broadway in Eugene, Oregon, just outside a 7-Eleven store. The victim, identified as Stephen Anthony Forrest, a 32-year-old employee of the 7-Eleven, was found with life-threatening injuries and was immediately transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
