In the early afternoon of December 6, 2023, a life was tragically cut short in Portland, Oregon's Buckman neighborhood. Michael L. Hart, a 49-year-old man, was fatally shot near the intersection of Southeast Main Street and Southeast Water Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 1:48 p.m., at which time officers from the Central Precinct responded to a report of a shooting.
