In the early morning hours of December 19, 2021, a dispute outside a bar in Portland, Oregon, tragically ended the life of 27-year-old Daquan Taeshawn James Turner. The Black / African American man was fatally shot in the Mt. Scott-Arleta neighborhood, a devastating outcome to what began as a verbal altercation.
