The incident unfolded at the Rodeway Inn located at 3800 NE Sandy Boulevard in Portland, Oregon. Webber, who was from Tacoma, Washington, was in his hotel room with some associates at approximately 4:20 a.m. when a loud knocking began at their door.
The situation escalated quickly as an unidentified individual shattered the window next to the door.
Fearful for their lives, Webber and his companions sought refuge in the bathroom of the hotel room. However, the assailant began firing into the room.
