On the evening of Saturday, February 26, 2022, a fatal encounter unfolded in a parking garage in Portland's Lloyd District. Jacob T. Dreyer, a 38-year-old Caucasian male from Vancouver, was found deceased in the driver's seat of a car. The cause of death was an apparent gunshot wound. Portland Police Bureau officers were dispatched to the scene in the 1000 block of Northeast 2nd Avenue at 7:12 p.m. following a report of a shooting.
