Senovia Medina, 37, was last seen on January 5, 2006, after leaving her mother's home in Houston, Texas, to run errands. At the time of her disappearance, she was three months pregnant. A few days later, her 1995 Isuzu Rodeo was found abandoned behind a gas station in a location far from her home, with the license plates removed. This raised suspicion, as the area was not on any known route she would have taken.
