Senovia Medina, 37, was last seen on January 5, 2006, after leaving her mother's home in Houston, Texas, to run errands. At the time of her disappearance, she was three months pregnant. A few days later, her 1995 Isuzu Rodeo was found abandoned behind a gas station in a location far from her home, with the license plates removed. This raised suspicion, as the area was not on any known route she would have taken.
Her live-in boyfriend, Miguel Antonio Martinez, who was also the father of her unborn child, quickly became a person of interest in her disappearance. He failed multiple polygraph tests and was arrested in 2011 on a weapons charge after authorities found illegal gun silencers at his residence. Later that year, he was charged with her murder after confessing that during a confrontation, Medina accidentally died, and he disposed of her body in a rural area. Despite his confession, Medina’s remains were never located.
Medina, originally from El Salvador, worked as a housekeeper at the time she went missing. Her family and authorities believe foul play was involved due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
