Lavell Clayton Thomas, also known by his street name “Twin,” was found stabbed to death in Portland, Oregon, on June 27, 1994. His body was discovered at approximately 8:30 PM on SW 2nd Avenue, between SW Burnside and Ankeny in the Old Town area of the city. Thomas, who was 39 years old at the time, was a familiar figure in this neighborhood, a place notorious for its drug-related activities.
