On the morning of New Year's Day 2024, the life of 42-year-old Brandon Slack, a White male from Mount Angel, Oregon, was tragically cut short. Just before 6:00 a.m., law enforcement received a distressing 911 call reporting a shooting on Pershing Street near Marquam Street in Mount Angel. When deputies and officers from the Mt.
