On the evening of May 23, 2024, in the Hazelwood neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, the life of 31-year-old Laquonda Fuller-Hudson was tragically cut short. Just after 10 p.m., officers from the Portland Police Bureau's East Precinct were dispatched to an apartment in the 100 block of Southeast 146th Avenue following a report of shots fired. Upon their arrival, they discovered Fuller-Hudson deceased inside from what the Medical Examiner would later determine to be a homicide by gunshot wound.
