In the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, a young life was abruptly cut short on the evening of February 21, 2023. Mario Gomes Dos Santos, a 21-year-old Hispanic/Latino male, was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred on Wilrose Street. Another individual was also injured in the violent incident, but survived.
