On the evening of Saturday, April 8, 2023, tragedy struck in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood, forever altering the lives of a local family. Christopher Shivers, a 43-year-old Black / African American man, was fatally shot in the area of 2055 Columbus Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 10:17 PM, shattering the peace of the Easter weekend.
