In the early hours of a Wednesday in March, the life of 29-year-old Tristan Nathaniel Twilley Jr. was cut short by a hail of gunfire in his Muncie, Indiana home. On March 15, 2023, police were dispatched to his duplex on East 10th Street after receiving multiple reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they discovered a tragic and violent scene. The residence was riddled with more than 50 bullet holes, leaving windows shattered and the interior walls and furniture damaged.
Inside, they found Twilley Jr. deceased. An autopsy was planned to determine the exact cause of death for the young man.
