In what was initially reported as a tragic accident, the life of 33-year-old Taylor Long was cut short on April 3, 2023, in Terre Haute, Indiana. On that day, his wife, Denia Long, placed a 911 call from their vehicle, parked near a liquor store, stating she had accidentally shot her husband while moving a handgun.
