In the quiet community of Greencastle, Indiana, a grim discovery was made on May 14, 2023, shattering the tranquility of a Sunday morning. Nancy Jane Rosa, a 74-year-old woman, was found deceased in her residence. The initial call to authorities came not from her husband, but from a friend whom he had contacted, claiming to have found his wife covered in blood and stiff to the touch.
Upon their arrival at the home located in the 3000 block of South County Road 550 West, law enforcement
officers discovered Nancy Rosa's body in the living room. It was apparent she had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators at the scene determined that she had been shot at close range.
