On the night of Wednesday, May 17, 2023, a violent incident occurred in the Forest Manor neighborhood of Indianapolis, Indiana, claiming the life of a young man. Deante Lamar McKinzie, a 23-year-old male, arrived at a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds sustained during a shooting. Despite receiving medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the medical facility.
