On July 27, 2023, five-year-old Rayleigh Ann Bloyd was found deceased in her Lafayette, Indiana, home alongside her mother, 43-year-old Tracy Bondurant. Authorities are investigating the incident as a possible murder-suicide. Autopsy results revealed that both mother and daughter died from gunshot wounds to the head, with Bondurant's death ruled a suicide and Rayleigh's a homicide.
