Death by Force

On the morning of March 1, 2025, authorities in Lafayette, Indiana, responded to a distressing scene at the Village Square Apartments on Cochise Trail. Inside a ground-floor unit, they discovered the bodies of two women: Laportia Shenett, a 34-year-old African American woman, and Kadeisha Ross, a 28-year-old African American woman.
