On September 28, 2023, the body of 19-year-old Austin Michael Seiman was discovered in the Maumee River in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The body was found by a kayaker around 5:00 p.m. near the 800 block of Tecumseh Street. Fort Wayne police and fire officials were dispatched to the scene, where the Fort Wayne Fire Department confirmed the body to be deceased.
