In the early morning hours of January 12, 2024, the life of 14-year-old TraQuon Dashon Hurmon, a Black male from Fort Wayne, Indiana, was tragically cut short. The fatal incident occurred at an apartment complex in the 10600 block of Seiler Road in New Haven, Indiana. Police were dispatched to the scene around 1 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Hurmon with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
