On August 24, 2021, 16-year-old Bryson Leshawn Patterson Jr. was found dead inside a home in New Haven, Indiana, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The incident occurred in the 10600 block of Seiller Road, and emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. The Allen County Coroner's Office later ruled his death a homicide.
