On the night of January 24, 2024, a violent incident occurred in the 2000 block of Pearl Street in Anderson, Indiana, claiming the life of 38-year-old Rishon Reeves-Linley. The Anderson Police Department received an alert from the city’s audio gunshot detection system around 10:15 p.m., notifying officers of gunfire in the area approximately six minutes before the first 911 call was placed.
