In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Indianapolis, the life of 23-year-old Edwin Jaquan Smith was tragically cut short. On February 20, 2024, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a call of a shooting in a neighborhood on Catalina Drive, near the intersection of East 38th Street and North Mitthoeffer Road.
