On May 20, 2024, a shooting incident occurred on the east side of Indianapolis, resulting in the death of 19-year-old JaDen Omarion Thrasher. The incident took place in the Little Flower neighborhood, near the intersection of E. 12th Street and Colorado Avenue. Police were dispatched to the area around 10 p.m. in response to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found three individuals injured at the scene: JaDen Omarion Thrasher, a 19-year-old female, and a baby.
