In the early hours of a Monday morning, the life of 21-year-old Christian Farmer of Merrillville, Indiana, was tragically cut short. On June 10, 2024, at a Citgo gas station located at 4700 Broadway in Gary, Farmer was fatally shot. The Lake County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead at the scene at 1:58 a.m. from multiple gunshot wounds. His family was present to identify him. An autopsy later confirmed that the cause of death was a homicide.
