Christian Prince, a 23-year-old man from Chicago, Illinois, died as a result of a shooting incident that occurred on April 14, 2023. The incident took place in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side of Chicago. Prince was riding in a vehicle in the 4400 block of West Grand Avenue around 9:40 p.m. when someone outside the vehicle fired shots.
Prince was struck by a bullet in the back of the head.
The driver of the vehicle immediately took him to Stroger Hospital for medical treatment. Despite the efforts to save him, Prince succumbed to his injuries and died a few days later, as confirmed by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
As of the current date, no arrests have been made in connection with Prince's murder. The case is still under investigation by Area Five detectives of the Chicago Police Department.
