On May 11, 2023, a mass shooting occurred in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, including Jarrell Harmon, who was 26 years old. The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of West 61st Street and South Union Avenue.
