Emmanuel Boston, a 34-year-old resident of Springfield, Illinois, was the victim of a homicide that occurred on Saturday, July 8, 2023. The incident took place near the intersection of N. 24th St. and Allison Ct. in Springfield.

Boston was found shot and was subsequently taken to HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, where he was pronounced dead at 6:29 AM.

The Sangamon County Coroner, Jim Allman, identified the victim and confirmed that the death is under investigation by b ...
