On August 3, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at a QuikTrip gas station in Lansing, Illinois, resulting in the death of Cameron Webster Sr., a 53-year-old resident of Lansing. The incident happened early in the morning, just before 4:40 a.m., when Webster was at the gas station located at 17355 Torrence Avenue.
