On September 15, 2023, 29-year-old African American male Latrell Johnson was fatally shot in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 4:20 p.m. near the entrance of a business located in the 10000 block of South Michigan Avenue in the city's Roseland neighborhood. Johnson sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was pronounced dead at the scene.
