Dominic Dupree, also known as Dominic Palace, a 25-year-old gender nonconforming individual, was fatally shot on Friday, October 13, 2023, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the South Shore neighborhood, where Dupree was inside a vehicle in an alley in the 7800 block of South Jeffery Boulevard. At approximately 10:46 p.m., gunfire broke out, and Dupree was struck multiple times throughout the body. They were pronounced dead at the scene by police.
