On February 6, 2024, Bradford L. Readus, a 22-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, was fatally shot in Cahokia Heights, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Mildred Avenue, where officers responded to a report of a person shot inside a residence around 1:04 p.m..
