On February 26, 2024, Jon Rucker, a 47-year-old man, lost his life due to gun violence in the Greater Grand Crossing area of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred on Monday evening near the intersection of 71st and State Streets. Rucker was using a nearby ATM when he was struck by gunfire.
