Death by Force

Tyran Williams, a 34-year-old resident of Chicago, was fatally shot on March 15, 2024, in the Beverly neighborhood. The incident occurred in an alley behind his restaurant, Gusto's Kitchen, located at 1767 W. 95th St., near Wood Street. According to reports, Williams was approached by a suspect in a blue vehicle, and someone inside the vehicle began firing shots. Williams was struck multiple times and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
