On March 20, 2024, a tragic incident occurred on Chicago's South Side, resulting in the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Tyree Brown. The incident took place in the morning, around 11:55 a.m., when Tyree was standing outside in the 700 block of East 91st Place. A passenger in an unknown white vehicle began firing in Tyree's direction, leading to him sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
