Eric Salabirria, aged 28, was found dead on February 5, 2014, in his North Tampa home, alongside his girlfriend Chelsea Sizemore, age 21. The incident took place at their residence on N. 24th Street, where both victims were found to have suffered fatal injuries, reportedly due to upper body trauma.
