Freddy Demond Benson, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 19, 2016, in Tampa, Florida. Freddy was inside the Oakhurst Apartment Complex when multiple gunshots were fired, striking him and causing fatal injuries. The incident occurred in the early morning hours, around 1:30 a.m., at 910 Nassau Street West. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Freddy succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
