Death by Force

On July 11, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred on the Dan Ryan Expressway in the Chatham neighborhood on Chicago's South Side. The incident took place in the northbound lanes of Interstate 94 between 79th and 83rd Streets. Illinois State Police responded to the scene around 5:15-5:17 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.
