Amarion C. Gray, a 19-year-old resident of Decatur, Illinois, was fatally shot in the early hours of July 18, 2024. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of North Pine Street in Decatur. Gray was shot and subsequently transported to the Decatur Memorial Hospital Emergency room via ambulance, where he was pronounced dead at 12:36 a.m..
