Carlos Casas, a 30-year-old man, was fatally shot on July 29, 2024, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the East Side neighborhood, specifically in the 9800-block of South Avenue J. According to Chicago police, the shooting happened before 9:16 p.m..
