Daveon Norals, an 18-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, lost his life to gun violence on September 16, 2024. The incident occurred in the city’s West Side, specifically in the area around the 5600 block of South Throop in the Bridgeport neighborhood.
According to reports, police responded to a shots-fired call at 2:06 a.m. on the mentioned date and found Norals with a gunshot wound to the right eye.
Despite immediate aid provided by the Chicago Fire Department, Norals was pronounced dead a short time later at the scene.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Daveon Norals as the victim of this fatal shooting. As of the latest reports, there were no arrests or charges made in connection with his death. Chicago detectives continue to investigate the case.
