On November 3, 2024, Darius "Nitro" Watson, a 21-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, lost his life to gun violence. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, specifically at about 12:40 a.m., in the 2800 block of West 83rd Street in the Wrightwood area of Chicago.
Watson was found by a witness with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. Despite immediate medical attention from Chicago firefighters, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
