On January 20, 2023, the body of 19-year-old Joshua Cole Wick from Hall County was discovered around 4 p.m. on Holders Siding Road in Jefferson, Georgia. Authorities believe he was killed elsewhere and his body was left at the scene. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation assisted local police in the investigation.
