Tovis Germaine Raines Jr., a 29-year-old Black male, was tragically killed on July 9, 2023, in a shooting incident in Atlanta, Georgia. The father of two was not the intended target of the gunfire that erupted outside a residence on McDaniel Street, according to his aunt, who described him as an 'innocent bystander' to the violence. Born on June 13, 1994, Raines was remembered by loved ones for his generous and loving heart, and his infectious smile that could light up any room.
