Davon Grant, an 18-year-old African American male from Riverdale, Georgia, tragically lost his life on April 10, 2016, in southwest Atlanta. The incident occurred early Sunday morning on the 1900 block of Sylvan Road SW. Davon was shot in the chest and, despite his efforts to seek help by crossing the street to a nearby gas station, he collapsed and was later pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital.
