On July 9, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Snellville, Georgia, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Rasheed Joseph from Stonecrest. The incident took place at McCalla Court, where Joseph's mother had driven him. According to police reports, a man entered their car, shot Joseph in the chest, and stole money from his pocket before fleeing the scene.
